What diseases does a chinchilla most easily get?

Common chinchilla diseases are constipation, bloating, soft stool, colds, and improper tooth alignment. Chinchillas hate heat; above 30 C they easily get heatstroke. In addition, poor diet easily causes gut problems – overfeeding or lack of exercise leads to constipation or bloating.

Also, a chinchilla’s teeth keep growing and need constant chewing; if too long, eating is affected.
