Buying a 3-month-old Pomeranian is a good choice, because at this age the puppy is fully weaned with fairly developed health and is easy to care for. Also, a 3-month-old dog hasn’t bonded to an owner yet, so it won’t easily get stressed in a new home and adapts more readily.
However, when buying one, make sure it has had the full set of infectious-disease vaccines, including distemper, parvovirus, and rabies. Also keep up regular deworming to avoid internal and external parasites like fleas, lice, mites, roundworms, and tapeworms.
