It meows incredibly loudly—all kinds of crying. Lately it starts around 5–6 a.m. every day at that same time. Scolding does no good; it keeps crying even while being punished or with its mouth held shut; otherwise it just strings together all sorts of wailing sounds.

Common reasons a cat keeps meowing at night include being in heat, hunger, thirst, or feeling cold. When your cat cries frequently, check whether there is still food or water in its bowls. If not, give it some food and water to see if it stops. At the same time, watch whether it feels cold and keep it warm in time. If these causes are ruled out, consider whether your cat is in heat or feeling unwell. If you have no plan to breed your cat, you might consider having it spayed or neutered.
