What Do Loaches Eat and How Should I Feed Them?

Loaches are omnivorous and eat many foods such as aquatic plants, algae, daphnia, earthworms, wheat bran, duckweed and fish meal. If kept with other fish, loaches clean the tank by eating leftovers and sometimes spoiled food. They are hardy and not demanding about water or temperature; just avoid overfeeding to prevent obesity and slow growth.
