A rabbit’s red, swollen eyes may be conjunctivitis caused by irritation from dust, fur, or hay. You can clean the eyes with saline solution, then apply anti-inflammatory eye drops and fit an Elizabethan collar promptly; with continued treatment for a few days the eyes should recover.
In addition, if the eye inflammation is caused by a bacterial infection or other disease, besides treating the eye inflammation you must also treat the rabbit’s primary illness. Closely monitor the rabbit’s recovery; if the eye inflammation does not improve, take it to a vet promptly.
