What does a budgerigar like to play with?

Budgerigars generally like rattan balls, swings, and climbing ladders. Pick toys that are simple, without sharp parts, unpainted, and easy to clean; ladders let them hop up and down and are liked.

But do not give ladders to very young budgerigars, whose balance is poor and who can get trapped between rungs, a real risk.
