At what age can a Golden Retriever eat dry kibble directly?

Expert Answer

Generally a Golden Retriever can eat dry kibble after 3 months; if digestion is weak, try at 4 months. Under 3 months the gut is immature and easily upset by dry food.

From weaning to 3 months, soak the kibble before feeding and avoid dry kibble.
