How long do goldfish spawn?

From start to finish, goldfish spawning takes about 5 to 10 hours; the first time is a bit longer but usually finishes within 10 hours. They spawn each spring, mostly between 4 am and 10 am.

If spawning drags on and you want it faster, change some water; the resulting flow helps stimulate spawning.
