How long after a dog eats Tongcao does it take effect?

Tongcao clears dampness, promotes urination, and stimulates milk flow. If a postpartum dog has insufficient milk, you can feed some appropriately, and effects are usually seen 3 to 5 days after the dog eats it.

Although Tongcao can promote lactation, not every dog can take it; a dog with weak digestion should avoid it, or diarrhea and health problems may follow. For lactation you can also offer crucian carp soup, chicken soup, or goat milk, all of which help milk production.
