How often does a Gouldian finch breed?

Gouldian finches breed 3 to 5 clutches a year. They reach sexual maturity at about 7 months and start breeding. They can breed in all seasons except they usually stop in hot summers. To breed them, prepare a breeding cage in advance and pair them. During breeding keep the environment at about 20 C and 50% humidity, and provide enough nutritious food as their needs rise.
