Leopard geckos generally live 8 to 13 years. Lifespan is affected by incubation temperature, inbreeding, environment, diet, breeding age, and nutrition; inbred geckos are usually shorter-lived. During keeping, monitor temperature, keeping it at 29 to 32 C and humidity 60 to 85%, under which digestion and shedding go well.
