How long after a cat’s external deworming can it be bathed?

A cat can only be bathed 3 days after external deworming. The topical deworming medicine penetrates the whole body through the cat’s sebaceous glands, which takes some time; the drug generally takes effect after 2-3 days, and bathing during this period would cause some of the medicine to be lost and reduce its effect. Therefore, to avoid weakening the effect and leaving deworming incomplete, a cat must wait at least 3 days after external deworming before bathing.
