Generally a kitten can leave its mother and live independently at 2 months. A 2-month kitten can defecate, walk, and eat on its own and does fine alone. But if weak, wait until it is stronger before leaving the nest. For weak kittens, after separation continue goat milk or add kitten milk cake and kibble to boost nutrition and constitution.
