How to tell if a dog’s tear stains are severe?

Severe stains dye the fur under the eyes and may cause eye inflammation. Causes include blocked tear ducts, salty diet, too much meat or eye inflammation.

Improve diet with less salt and more fruit/vegetables, clean daily with antibacterial drops, and consider duct flushing surgery if severe.
