How to train a dog to stand still?

Stand the dog in a corner and use food to draw its attention so it rises using the walls’ support; reward promptly when it stands.

Once skilled, train in open space with the ‘stand’ command, lengthening stand time as it improves. After repetition, the dog stands on command.
