Hamsters can eat fenugreek, which is rich in fiber, alkaloids and compounds studied for blood-sugar lowering, though effects are unverified. Feed 3-10 seeds per time, mixed with feed or alone, for 6-9 days.
Then test blood sugar; if it works, continue, but ordinary hamsters need not eat it.
