Leopard geckos become adults at about 8 months, weighing 50-70 g and up to 110-120 g for larger ones. Adults can breed, laying 3-4 clutches yearly, usually in spring and autumn.
During breeding the male courts the female with his tail; if accepted she raises her tail. After mating she reduces activity and lays eggs about a month later.
