What Happens If a Husky Eats Bones?

Huskies eating bones may cut the mouth and gut or cause blockage and constipation. The gut can’t digest hard bones; brittle chicken or duck bones easily scratch the mucosa, causing bloody stool and mouth ulcers, and may trigger bacterial gut inflammation.

Hard joint bones may be swallowed whole, lodging in the esophagus and causing breathing trouble, or in the intestine causing blockage, pain, and constipation.
