What Does a Crested Myna Look Like?

An adult crested myna is about 23-28 cm, all black with a little white on the tail and wings that shows clearly in flight like a ‘ba’ character. Its crest is prominent and slightly messy, with golden eyes and black bright pupils.

When choosing, watch its looks and spirit; pick one with shiny feathers, a graceful stance, and a fondness for singing. An inactive, dull-eyed bird is usually unhealthy.
