What is the Pug like?

The Pug is lively, likes to run around or cling to its owner, but rarely barks, so little worry about disturbing neighbors. It is gentle and very tolerant with children, rarely angry no matter how teased, suiting play with kids.

But as a short-nosed breed it cannot exercise intensely or risks heatstroke or breathing difficulty. It also has a strong odor and many skin folds, so clean and care for it regularly.
