Alaskan Malamutes are fierce fighters; most are gentle and friendly to people and other dogs and will not start a fight, but they will not be bullied either, and if provoked may pin the other down. Because of their large size they can easily injure small dogs.
In addition, their bite is strong, and when angry they may bite other dogs; without proper training they may also kill poultry like chickens, ducks and geese.
