What happens if a Samoyed eats bones?

Bones may cut the mouth, esophagus and gut lining, since brittle chicken or duck bones become very sharp when chewed, easily cutting the Samoyed’s mouth and gut and causing dark stool or oral or gut inflammation. Hard-to-digest bones in large amounts may block the gut, causing constipation, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Finally, bones can lodge in the throat, causing breathing difficulty or even death.
