What are Campbell’s dwarf hamsters like?

Campbell’s dwarf hamsters are quite good-looking, more petite and cute than other hamsters and very likable. But their temperament is not great; they are especially timid and sensitive and not easy to bond with, so forcing holds or touches can scare them.

Also, they get oily easily, so bathe them regularly, change bedding often and keep the cage clean to prevent disease.
