How to brush a Teddy (Poodle)?

A Teddy’s curly coat tangles easily, so prepare a steel comb, pin brush, and slicker, plus treats to reward cooperation. Start at the back of the neck with the steel comb from the roots to open tangles, then move to shoulders, back, chest, waist, belly, legs, and tail.

After combing, use the pin brush to straighten the coat, brushing against growth direction without poking the skin; be gentle.
