Will a cat die from cystitis?

Cystitis is curable and with timely treatment rarely fatal; it usually heals in 7-10 days. Affected cats urinate often, for long, painfully and with low appetite; see a vet if these appear. Most cystitis comes from low water intake, so ensure the cat drinks enough to prevent it.
