What happens if a dog gets drunk?

A drunk dog behaves much like a drunk person, usually showing unusual excitement, weak limbs, wobbly walking, frequent barking and running around, and some may become confused and just lie still. Because dogs cannot metabolize alcohol, their tolerance is far lower than humans’, and even a little can cause alcohol poisoning or allergy, severely damaging the liver and kidneys and even causing death.
