After eating a bone, my cat vomited several times, keeps opening its mouth with clicking sounds from the right side, seems to have something, poor appetite, less active. What should I do?

A cat that has a bone stuck and is vomiting should be taken to a vet for X-rays and treatment immediately. If the bone is just outside the esophagus you might try to hold the mouth and remove it with forceps, but do not attempt this alone, as struggling could bite you or push the object deeper; professional veterinary care is required.

Do not give cats hard bones; their gut cannot fully digest them, leading to blockage, constipation, vomiting, and scratches to the mouth or gut, or choking. Bones have little nutrition, so use calcium tablets or powder instead if you want to supplement calcium.
