A kitten that gets a rabies vaccine every year, stays mostly indoors, and has no contact with other animals is essentially unlikely to get rabies. Infection usually comes from being bitten by a rabid dog, cat, or other animal, or eating an infected carcass, so a kitten with no animal contact has very low risk.

Vaccines raise antibody levels, so even if it meets a rabid animal, it is unlikely to show rabies symptoms.
