How is the Shaanxi fine dog at rabbit hunting?

The Shaanxi fine dog is very strong at rabbit hunting. With a long history in China, mainly in Huainan and Xi’an, it has been an excellent hunting dog since ancient times – long-limbed, fast, and enduring.

Most hunters use it to course wild rabbits, and some keep it to guard the home. Though lean, its strong limbs and keen nose make it a natural chaser, well suited to flat hunting grounds around the Qinling area.
