What happens if a dog eats Banlangen (Isatis root)?

A moderate amount of Banlangen (Isatis root) has heat-clearing and throat-soothing effects and helps with dog colds and some viral diseases, but eating too much at once can cause lethargy, poor appetite, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

If there is no clear improvement after 3 days of Banlangen, take the dog to the veterinary hospital to avoid delaying recovery or secondary infection leading to pneumonia and other problems.
