How to raise a small local dog?

Small local dogs have good constitutions and strong adaptability, so they are generally easy to raise. The owner can ask the previous owner what the dog ate; if kibble, buy the same for a while then transition gradually. If it ate rice and vegetables, wait until it adapts to the new home before switching to kibble.

Do not feed onions, leeks, or other allium foods to avoid toxicity. Also avoid too-salty food, which can cause tear stains, shedding, and soft stools.
