When a cat dislikes you it refuses your approach; when you try to pet it, it may puff up, hiss, or even scratch and bite. It also hides when you appear and will not come out no matter how you call.

Stubborn cats may refuse the food you offer or only sneak out to eat after you leave. Finally, a disliking cat may deliberately misbehave at home, like urinating on the bed, sofa, or your shoes, to show its displeasure.
