What happens if a cat eats dried squid?

Eating a little dried squid is usually fine; squid is rich in protein, minerals, and trace elements that supplement nutrition and improve the cat’s condition. But dried squid is usually very salty, and a sudden large amount can cause salt poisoning with restlessness, drooling, muscle tremors, seizures, foaming, excessive drinking, breathing difficulty, and incontinence; take the cat to a vet promptly.

Also, some cats are allergic to seafood and may vomit or diarrhea after eating squid; in that case also seek veterinary care.
