Can rabbits eat white radish?
Expert Answer
Rabbits can eat white radish, but fresh white radish is too high in water content, which can easily cause diarrhea and, in severe cases, even dehydration and death. So when feeding radish, control the amount and do not give too much at once. Alternatively, the owner can try washing the radish, baking it in an oven to remove some moisture, then feeding it to the rabbit.
In addition, rabbits under 6 months have insufficient immunity and weaker digestive ability, so feeding white radish is not recommended. Also, some white radishes are rather pungent, so the rabbit may not like eating them.
