The ten downsides of owning a Golden Retriever: 1) heavy shedding needing frequent brushing and cleaning; 2) high activity needing daily walks; 3) energetic and destructive if under-exercised; 4) large size, big appetite, high cost; 5) too friendly and may be led away by strangers; 6) some bark and disturb neighbors; 7) delicate stomach, easy to upset; 8) not very clean, needs frequent baths or risks skin disease; 9) strong curiosity, licks and sniffs everything; 10) like any dog, needs regular deworming and vaccines, costing time and effort.
