You can start training a small Teddy at 2-3 months old. Because its constitution is still weak then, only simple indoor training is possible, such as recall, paw shake, and sit.

Once it is a bit older, you can train it to use a designated spot for toileting. After vaccinations, take it outside for training including loose-leash walking, not eating random things, and not biting people. During training, if the dog performs well, promptly give it a small treat as a reward – this strengthens the conditioned reflex and helps the dog form habits quickly.
