Can snails be kept without soil?

Snails can be kept without soil; they only need a cool, moist place to survive. Without soil, arrange the surroundings with vegetable leaves and tree leaves, spray them with water daily, and keep the area ventilated with ample food.

However, soil holds moisture better, and steady humidity helps snails grow, so it is best to prepare a glass tank, lay a layer of damp soil at the bottom, then add some greens and watermelon rind for the snail to eat. Snails raised this way will be healthier.
