What poisons are fatal to dogs?

Dogs can die from eating rat poison, pesticide, roach killer, and fast-acting poisons such as ‘three-step-down,’ wax balls, or cyanide. If a dog accidentally eats toxic drugs and shows vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, convulsions, or dilated pupils, promptly induce vomiting with soapy water and take it to a veterinary hospital immediately for professional treatment. Normally keep medicines stored away from dogs, and don’t tie the dog in the yard or outside at night to avoid deliberate poisoning.
